Insane to think that you watched a movie.
Bought Dying Light today. Don't like it. Not so much because the opening with scene after scene of scripted animations, boring dialogue and pedestrian characters was so fucking tedious that I started skipping cutscenes (which I do more and more nowadays), but because parkour feels awful in first-person view and always will. As if everything I have said about first-person view wasn't bad enough, here you also have to look right at whatever you want to scale or grab as you run (when looking around is already really restricted in that perspective, always tied to your movement, like the idiot can't turn his neck or roll his eyes) and the full run always has to be activated with Shift again, despite being I guess more about the platforming than the shooting.
@hardwenzen: Wasn't made for sensitive type people such as yourself who like teh feels.
Just action after action even if it is a little dated.
You stick to No Country of Old Men 🤣
No Country For Old Men (such as yourself) is a much more mature movie than your brainless violence you watched for 30 minutes😆😆😆
@hardwenzen: So you've learnt how to pronounce one of your top 5 movies of all time correctly, took you long enough.
I'd rather watch an action movie than some silly drama, drama no doubt you cry over 😭
Oh no, i made a typo, insane! Call the popo. And the only thing that makes me cry (and cringe, cringe HARD) is your shovelware grade posts.🤭
@hardwenzen: A typo lol, spelling of instead of for is just you forgetting the name of one of your favourite movies, maybe it was the tears in your eyes that made you do it 😭
Yes, a typo. I was thinking of something else while typing, and typed another world. My god, so insane!
You make me cringe, Aussie. You really do.
@hardwenzen: Pretty ironic don’t you think considering you were just chastising someone else for typing “your” instead of “you’re”. You of all people should not be criticizing others for grammatical errors considering your history of butchered posts.

Where have you seen me typing your instead of you're? Find me the post.
@hardwenzen: Didn’t say that was a mistake that you made, said that you were chastising someone else for doing that. Just saying that I “fund” it ironic. 😅
@hardwenzen: Oh now you were thinking of something else while you were typing it, keep'em coming this is hilarious 🤣
I was thinking of the fact that you haven't watched a movie in over 10 years. Never heard of anything this ridiculous, like honestly.
@hardwenzen: You’re such a terrible liar. Wonder what your excuse is for all the other times you mess up in your posts. Still very ironic seeing you get all defensive for an error when you were calling out someone else. Never forget that. 😂

I don't mess up in my posts, nor do i lie. I am a gamer that owns a Playstation 5. End of the story.
yep og first blood is incredible. i had a stallone classics movie night a few months back and watched it for the first time in years. blew me away how good it was and how well it held up. i do have a real soft spot for rocky iv and demolition man but first blood is my fave stallone film.
always liked the scene when sheriff will first meets colonel trautman
Funny thing about first Rambo is that has a reputation for violence. And certainly the sequels upped it to comical levels, but the first movie really isn't violence at all.
Like, 2 folk die, one falls out a helicopter.
Similar to Rocky in that respect, first movie is a drama movie first and foremost, the actual boxing match at the climax is more an emotional crescendo than a tightly choregraphed fight. And then immediately go to Rocky 2 and the fight has far more focus, far longer, far grander, but also, quite boring in comparison.
i'm sure there's some deeper underlying message in first blood.
something to do with it starts in a society where sheriff will is the king, that sees rambo only as a drifter, a pariah, no worth etc. a society where no matter what he is i.e. decorated war hero etc. he won't be able to win.
then he takes them to his turf, where he is king, where will and his men are the ones who don't belong, and where he puts the fear of death into them, makes them realise even with their strengths i.e. numbers, the law etc. they cannot win.
then through his anger and military instinct he returns to their turf to complete the mission. but it's back in an environment where he can't win. and ultimately he leaves defeated and broken.
any validity in that or have i been taking too many mushrooms
Godzilla: King of the Monsters was the American one enjoyed. Others boring.
About 70% of that as well is Bear McCreary soundtrack. Can't even remember OG soundtrack and some other goober doing Godzilla X Kong and notice it instantly.

Rambo movies are fun. they are not Terminator, Die Hard or John wick but not bad.
First blood 1 was masterpiece and 4 was also very good.
@uninspiredcup: Agree about King of Monsters. Mostly big monsters fighting, but had just enough humans doing talking stuff to give more context to the big monsters fighting. Good balance.
human drama drag and drag in godzilla 2014. I watched it for monster fight. not for emotional human drama.
will watch king of monster then godzilla vs kong to see if they are good or not.
I recently watched the 2014 Godzilla movie as well. Thought it was “fine” but not terribly interesting.

They're extremely outdated and ridiclous. Only good if you want to see cheese from the 80's.

First blood 1 was anything but cheesy. far cry different from 2 and 3.
Don’t think I saw the last Rambo movie but did watch all the others. The first movie was easily my favourite. Excellent movie.

Almost every action movie from the 80's and 90's was cheese af.

80s and 90s were best time for action movies.

If you're into cheese, yea.
@hardwenzen: so what are the best action movies?
From the older movies? Apocalypse Now is excellent and has no cheese. Full Metal Jacket was great and with no cheese.
And if you want old cheese, quality cheese, you watch good movies with cheese, cheese that is fitting.
Argh, almost two hours in Clock Clock Wood, could not find the last two notes and last jigsaw. That the cartridge does not save locations of notes found so that you can get the remaining ones next time is annoying. So, with only the end game left, my completion for Banjo Kazooie this time is...
Gruntilda's Lair: 10/10 jigsaw pieces
Mumbo's Mountain: 100/100 notes, 10/10 jigsaw pieces, 2/2 honeycombs
Treasure Trove Cove: 100/100 notes, 10/10 jigsaw pieces, 0/2 honeycombs
Clanker's Cavern: 100/100 notes, 10/10 jigsaw pieces, 2/2 honeycombs
Bubblegloop Swamp: 100/100 notes, 10/10 jigsaw pieces, 1/2 honeycombs
Freezeezy Peak: 100/100 notes, 10/10 jigsaw pieces, 2/2 honeycombs
Gobi's Valley: 100/100 notes, 8/10 jigsaw pieces, 1/2 honeycombs
Mad Monster Mansion: : 87/100 notes, 9/10 jigsaw pieces, 2/2 honeycombs
Rusty Bucket Bay: 89/100, 9/10 jigsaw pieces, 1/2 honeycombs
Click Clock Wood: 98/100, 9/10 jigsaw pieces, 1/2 honeycombs
Check the analog movement from almost any game that generation (Banjo Kazooie included) and you will find a full range. Check the analog movement from almost any game now (except Nintendo's) and you will only find two speeds. Certainly because they spend so much money on motion-captured animations now.
