COD Adds Absurd New Character Skins In Latest Patch

Call of Duty's adorable new Wubz and Friendz bundle is live now in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, bringing a quirky collection of skins and cosmetics. The bundle arrived in the in-game store alongside the game's latest patch, which introduced a handful of fixes and balance changes.

The Wubz and Friendz bundle includes four operator skins depicting all mascot-type characters with fluffy fur in different colors and big googly eyes. The skins include Wubz and his three friends: Stubz, Bubz, and the Harbinger of Dread. The 3,000 COD point bundle also includes two weapon blueprints, The Womper and New Friend, a sticker, a large decal, and a charm.

The bundle comes with a party skin bonus, which awards double XP and weapon XP when you play in a team of two or more with all of your party in Wubz and Friendz skins. Players will also get an additional 2X bonus to battle-pass XP when playing in a team of three or more with the matching skins.

In the latest MW3 and Warzone patches, the powerful JAK Wardens part for the Lockwood Mk2 marksman rifle is getting some balance changes. The changes are also tweaking how .410 Gauge Slug Shells perform with the weapon, with the patch notes saying the aim is to increase its reliability at close ranges, while reducing lethality from extreme distances.

The latest patch also has a few changes for MW3 ranked play, with the Scratch 20-L Suppressor Attachment, EMD Mine Equipment, and Enhanced Vision Goggles Field Upgrade all now restricted from ranked play.

Our goal for the .410 Gauge Slug Shells is to increase damage consistency in close-range engagements while simultaneously limiting the likelihood of kills at extreme distances by reducing damage range and increasing hipfire spread.
